Job Description:
  • Wireless Interconnect Engineering
  • Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years
JOB DUTIES:
  • Responsible for complete project management oversight for the IEN Hub capital program in the Southwest Region of the Wireless (RAN) Network Engineering Team.
  • This includes facilitating the activation of new Medium to Large-sized IEN Hubs, coordinating the migration of Hubs to the new eNSE transport core, facilitating efforts to deliver and migrate to Business via the Unified Transport initiative, and managing all transport and construction upgrades to existing Hubs.
  • Acts as primary program interface by facilitating team meetings to include tracking and managing action items to meet project deliverables as well as distributing regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Build strong communication channels with Operations, Fiber, RF, and internal departments such as Real Estate, Transport, Equipment, and Construction with the ability to provide custom reporting, monthly dashboards, schedule integration and metrics management.
  • Develops project plans that include resource, time and budget estimates for all project phases and milestones for internal and external parties.
  • Develops and maintains project schedules and calendars with the input and assistance of transition leads Facilitates team meetings, providing meeting minutes and action items where needed Tracks tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
  • Bachelor's Degree, or 3 or more years of experience with Wireless or Telecom Technical Project Management Proficient with Microsoft Office, charts, and database applications Self-motivated, show initiative, and ability to work independently.
  • Highly productive and pays close attention to detail.
  • Superior organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply working knowledge of Wireless RAN (Radio Access Network) Technology on new projects.
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge and Proficiency in Transport Engineering (Interconnect) and Radio Frequency (RF) engineering as applied to the RAN / wireless engineering environment Understanding of the Real Estate process as applied to initial build or modification projects as applied to the RAN / wireless engineering environment Experience managing Construction and/or Outside Plant (Fiber) projects as applied to the RAN / wireless engineering environment
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Desired: Bachelor s Degree, or equivalent work experience
LOGISTICS: Shift:
  • 8AM-5PM, MON-FRI Location: Phoenix, AZ Hybrid working environment, working up to 5 days in the office
