Description

SAIC won a new service desk supporting the IRS. The Treasury is moving to a cloud environment and this desk will be supporting users of the cloud based applications. This is an amazing opportunity for green/junior candidates with a degree in IT and the willingness to learn. If they have a degree and a great personality, this manager will like them. ** PLEASE READ ** SAIC won what they are calling the "T-Cloud" desk to support the Treasury as they move documents/knowledge bases to a cloud environment. This is a newer desk and consists of 1 team lead and the 10 service desk agents. Candidates should have flexible shift availability. - 7am - 3:30pm - 3pm-11:30pm - 11:00pm- 7:30am Manager does not care what time zone the candidates sit in as long as they're okay with working EST hours. Please put the candidate's shift availability at the top of their submittal package! Post acceptance of offer, candidates will have to get a piv card, public trust clearance, and SAIC has to get their equipment out in order to start. There will be 2 weeks of training for how to handle the desk. Onboarding for this desk can be a slow process, so candidates need to be prepared for that. This is great if someone is already working until we tell them to put in their two weeks. Make sure this timeline/expectation will not be an issue before you sub candidates! ***Actual compensation will be dependent upon location as this is an SCA/SCLS contract*** ***All candidates with be eligible for an additional $4.93/hr on top of their hourly pay rate as part of the SCA contract***

Additional Skills & Qualifications

They use a ServiceNow ticketing system and will be using Azure AD, MS suite, Teams, and Outlook. Candidates MUST have good interpersonal skills- that is this manager's main selling point! They have to be willing to learn, excited, patient, and have great customer service. This is a great opportunity for entry level candidates who need to get their foot in the door!

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
