The SharePoint Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting the Company s SharePoint environment. This includes testing, quality assurance, and the development of applications, workflows, and integrations using Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies.
This role requires a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to convert business needs into effective SharePoint solutions, including the creation and maintenance of sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and Power Platform applications. The role also involves providing user support and training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and administer SharePoint sites, workflows, content management, and databases
- Develop SharePoint solutions to meet business needs using out-of-the-box features and custom configurations
- Create and maintain Intranet and SharePoint sites, including pages, lists, views, and workflows
- Gather and document business requirements and workflows with stakeholders
- Recommend improvements and develop tools using SharePoint and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Create dashboards and collaboration tools to enhance enterprise communication
- Monitor system usage and identify unused content for archiving or deletion
- Collaborate with IT staff (e.g., Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, Analysts) to ensure a stable SharePoint environment
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in SharePoint and related platforms
- Provide end-user training and support
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Developer
- Experience working directly with business users to define requirements and implement solutions
- Proficiency in SharePoint Designer and Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) preferred
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint features: document management, list creation, workflow automation, and collaboration tools
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
