Position: Cloud Engineer Migrations from AWS to Google Cloud Platform
Location: 100 % Remote
Duration: 6+ months
Job Description
MUST HAVE:
- Prior experience leading company integrations from AWS/Azure to Google Cloud Platform.
- Application Development focused - NOT looking for DevOps or Cloud Hosting candidates
- Migrations from AWS to Google Cloud Platform.
- Examples of App Development
- 2+ years of experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, and Redshift 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, GKE, and Cloud Functions
- Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, load balancers, and hybrid connectivity
- Experience with database migration tools and techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or Go
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Previous cloud migration project experience
