Sr Data Governance Analyst/Data Catalog Lead
The Data Catalog Lead plays a vital role in developing and sustaining an enterprise-wide data and analytics governance program. This role involves managing team members, lead projects/data products and working closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to establish and sustain a comprehensive Data Catalog. Additionally, the analyst is responsible for defining and enforcing standards, policies, and processes that enhance the reliability, usability, security, and compliance of data and analytics assets.

Responsibilities
- Defining and implementing data governance frameworks, catalog, policies, and best practices to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Driving data stewardship efforts by working with business and technical teams to improve data quality and resolve data-related issues.
- Managing data classification, metadata management, and lineage tracking to support transparency and accountability.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal data governance requirements, including privacy laws and industry standards.
- Facilitating data governance councils, committees, and working groups to promote a culture of data responsibility.
- Partnering with IT teams to integrate data governance informatica tools and technologies, such as data catalogs and master data management solutions.
- Providing training and guidance to business users on data governance principles and best practices.
