In this hybrid role, you'll design and build enterprise-wide data architectures, optimize pipelines, and create reliable and scalable data systems that fuel insights and drive impactful decisions.

What You'll Do

Revolutionize Data Architecture: Build scalable and flexible data models, pipelines, and workflows designed for real-time analytics and seamless integration of diverse sources. Tap into the advanced capabilities of Databricks Lakehouse architecture to process, analyze, and unify data in groundbreaking ways.

Optimize for Performance: Identify and address bottlenecks in data systems, ensuring they run at peak performance. Use cutting-edge optimization techniques to improve data processing speed, scalability, and efficiency-while minimizing resource usage.

Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with stakeholders to align data strategies with business objectives, ensuring the architecture empowers data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Lead and Mentor: Share your expertise with the team by mentoring data engineers, instilling best practices, and fostering an environment of growth and innovation. From pipeline design to system optimization, you'll help elevate the team's capabilities.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Over 5 years of experience in data architecture and system design, with a strong preference for experience in complex industries such as insurance.

Deep expertise in crafting comprehensive data architectures, including modeling, integration pipelines, governance, and scalable solutions to meet business needs.

Hands-on experience in ETL pipeline development and proficiency in Databricks-designing workflows, managing Lakehouse architectures, and using its platform for advanced analytics and machine learning.

Advanced skills in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and system development.

Robust knowledge of data security best practices, compliance standards, and delivering high data quality.

Familiarity with cloud technologies, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure modern, scalable, and efficient workflows.
