Job Title: Command Center Analyst (2nd Shift - 1-Year Contract)
Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday | 2nd Shift
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Command Center Analyst to join a 24/7 IT Command Center team. This role is essential in ensuring the health and stability of technical systems through real-time monitoring, incident response, and change management support. Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor critical systems using industry-standard tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide clear, concise, and executive-level communication regarding system status, issues, and risks.
  • Facilitate and participate in incident and change management calls.
  • Maintain accurate and organized incident documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major incident and problem management efforts.
  • Conduct thorough shift handoffs to ensure continuity of operations.

Daily Workflow:
  • Start of Shift:
    • Log into monitoring tools and review prior shift activity.
  • During Shift:
    • Monitor systems, manage change calls, and respond to incidents.
    • Shift focus dynamically between monitoring, incident response, and coordination.
  • End of Shift:
    • Conduct handoff meetings and communicate key updates.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:
  1. Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver executive-level updates.
  2. Working knowledge of ITIL processes, especially incident and change management.
  3. Hands-on experience with "eyes on glass" monitoring using multiple tools.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience in a NOC/SOC or similar operational environment.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Azure and/or AWS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, BigPanda, Dynatrace, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • ITILv4 Foundations Certification.
  • CCNA Certification or equivalent.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
