RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a Program Manager to support a portfolio of software delivery initiatives within a technical enablement team in Greenwood Village, CO.
Summary:
This individual will work alongside a senior Program Manager to coordinate and drive the planning and execution of complex programs. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring alignment across internal teams-product, engineering, design, and data-as well as external stakeholders, helping to deliver initiatives efficiently from discovery through completion. This role is well-suited for someone with 2-5 years of experience in technical program or project management who is comfortable in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment. This is not a role for a traditional, process-heavy project manager-success here requires flexibility, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage ambiguity.
Why This Role?
You'll have the opportunity to work closely with a seasoned program leader and contribute to a strategic area within a growing software delivery organization. If you're a clear communicator, highly organized, and ready to take ownership in a complex and collaborative environment, this role offers strong growth potential and impact.
Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end program delivery, from initial discovery through planning, execution, and close-out
* Coordinate across cross-functional internal teams (product, design, engineering, and data)
* Track timelines, risks, and dependencies, adjusting plans as needed
* Drive stakeholder communications, including executive-level updates (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
* Support portfolio-level visibility and reporting to ensure alignment and transparency
* Adapt to shifting priorities and contribute across a range of initiatives as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Program or senior project management experience in software delivery environments
* Proven track record managing full delivery cycles
* Strong coordination skills across embedded internal teams and external stakeholders
* Experience working in hybrid environments (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban), including dependency mapping
* Strong communication skills, including with executive stakeholders
* Proficiency with JIRA, MS Project, and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)
* Comfortable working in matrixed, fast-paced, and evolving settings
* Collaborative and proactive approach; able to manage up and flex across responsibilities
Nice-to-Haves:
* Technical foundation (e.g., understanding of APIs, microservices, or general software concepts)
* Experience with portfolio-level reporting or program tracking
* Familiarity with managing globally distributed teams or offshore coordination
* Experience in hybrid roles (e.g., Program Manager and Scrum Master or Product support)
* Familiarity with accessibility standards and compliance practices
* Experience with MS Project as a transition from tools like Smartsheet
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
