The Denzel Group, an award-winning search firm, has been chosen to work with an industry leader in the Reading area on their quest for Database Administration Manager.
In this role you will direct a team of Database Administrators across DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server database platforms and systems.
Our client is looking for someone who is forward thinking and can take them to the next level and move to newer technologies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, maintenance, and implementation for the databases
- Hire, supervise and mentor Database Administrators
- Prepare and present system performance reports to senior managers.
- Document processes and comply with best practices in database management.
- Develop strategic plans for various database technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience managing database administration teams
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work with various IT and business teams as required
- In-depth knowledge of database technologies, architecture, and data security.
- Knowledge of best practices in database management.
