Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of ServiceNow Development Engineer within our team. You will join our team and be responsible for developing and supporting our ServiceNow platform, driving automation, and optimizing business processes. You will help us deliver more value from our existing ServiceNow capabilities and help us grow the platform and adoption with our customers and internally.

This role will have a foundational understanding of ITSM and CSM development and be eager to learn and grow in this dynamic field. It involves assisting in the design, development, and implementation of ITSM and CSM applications and integrations, as well as the design and maintenance of a Client/Employee portal.

Qualified candidates should be prepared to showcase various forms, workflows, or scripts they have developed in an ITSM or CSM installation

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development, core configuration, and technical expertise of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and CSM

• Design, create, and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs, including advanced scripting of each (including Service Portal)

• Develop custom applications, workflows, and modules

• Develop system integrations using REST, SOAP, MID-servers, or other relevant technologies

• Create and maintain documentation for developed applications, customizations, and integrations

• Provide technical guidance and support for ServiceNow issues and resolve tickets related to the platform. Coordinate with ServiceNow and/or third parties for escalated issues or upgrades

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.

• Participate in the testing and validation of new features and functionalities to ensure alignment with business requirements

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Collaborate to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements within the ServiceNow framework or partner with IT leadership to suggest alternative platforms

• Design and implement solutions that are scalable, flexible, and easy to maintain to include leading proofs of concept for new work.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to ServiceNow solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related technology or scientific field OR 5 years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree
• 4+ years of expertise developing on the ServiceNow platform in 2 or more capabilities (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or CSM)
• 1 or more active ServiceNow certifications (Certified System Administrator, ITSM, App Specialist)
• 4+ years of experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems through REST, SOAP, MID-servers, or other relevant technologies
• Experience in supporting business solutions hosted on ServiceNow from a developer or administrator perspective, inclusive of the challenges associated with upgrades, integrations, and operational support
• Strong understanding of practical application of ServiceNow as it relates to industry solutions, as well as an understanding of the interconnectedness between modules and core data
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the Choose an item. range is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00.

This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 03 people leader in a Software Development position.
