ETL Data Engineer

4 Month Contract

Hybrid Dearborn, MI

$50-75/HR

Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data solutions. This includes developing data infrastructure, pipelines, and platforms to support efficient and accurate collection, storage, processing, and analysis of large volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future data requirements.

Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data infrastructure for data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis.

Develop and manage data pipelines, data models, and applications to support reliable data workflows.

Implement and maintain data platforms such as data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouses for both structured and unstructured data.

Create analytical tools, algorithms, and scripts to support data engineering tasks and automate processes.

Monitor and optimize data systems for performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Required Skills:

• Required: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
• Preferred: Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile environments; strong curiosity and analytical mindset; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Required: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred: Advanced coursework or certifications in data engineering or related fields

Additional Information:

• On-site requirement: 4 days per week
