Job Title: Data Conversion Analyst Infor/Lawson to Workday
Primary Location: REMOTE

The expected salary range for this position is $50-$75/hr depending on experience and qualifications. TalentFish is casting a line for a Data Conversion Analyst Infor/Lawson to Workday. This is a 3 month plus remote contract role.
The purpose of this position is to support the migration of enterprise data from Infor/Lawson systems into the Workday platform. The SQL Data Conversion Analyst will be responsible for legacy data analysis, extraction, transformation, mapping, load preparation, and validation across multiple HR, Payroll, or Financial modules. This role ensures data accuracy, integrity, and readiness throughout the Workday implementation lifecycle.
What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)
- 7+ years of experience in data conversion, data analysis, or ETL development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience working with Infor/Lawson data models across HR, Payroll, Finance, or Supply Chain.
- Experience with Workday data conversion processes (EIBs, Core Connectors, templates).
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate business rules into mapping logic.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analyze Infor/Lawson legacy data, table structures, relationships, and business rules.
- Develop complex SQL scripts to extract, cleanse, profile, and validate data.
- Build and maintain data mapping documents from Infor/Lawson to Workday.
- Apply transformation logic aligned with Workday requirements and functional design.
- Prepare Workday data load templates (EIB, spreadsheets, Core Connectors).
- Support trial data conversions, troubleshooting, and iterative test cycles.
- Reconcile and validate data across legacy and Workday systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Document conversion processes, transformation rules, and testing results.
- Participate in cutover activities including final data loads, balancing, and post-go-live support.
