BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Opportunity Ai Data Engineer in Redmond WA

Position Title: AI DATA ENGINEER

Location: Fully Remote

Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP

Expected Duration: 3+ Months Contract

Job Type: Contract and Remote

Pay Range: $50/hr. - $52/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Candidate Requirements:

Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years overall experience in the field.

Degrees or certifications required: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Disqualifiers: Candidates without experience in ADO, Power BI, and dashboard management will not be eligible for the role.

The Ideal resume would contain proactive experience in managing automation projects and converting manual processes into interactive dashboards.

- PRIOR MSFT experience highly preferred, if not relevant experience with a large tech organization

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience with Power BI.

Minimum 2 years' experience with ADO (Azure DevOps).

Minimum 2 years' experience with dashboard and database management.

Summary:

The main function of this role is to create automated dashboards which pull data from various sources including Azure DevOps (ADO), Excel and cross-org databases, and convert manual processes into live data visualization. This role will also maintain existing dashboard backend in ADO, fix bugs and create queries and reporting to meet business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

* Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

* Analyze technology, resource needs and demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

* Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings.

Skills:

* Have basic Datacenter Server Knowledge (preferrable Azure) and worked for MSFT before.

* Must have sufficient knowledge and experience using MSFT's Power Platform including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, as well as Azure DevOps, SharePoint and more.

* Have strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

* Have basic ability to work independently.

* Have basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
