Job Title-Zscaler Engineer
Location 100% Remote TX
Duration- 7 months Contract
(Possible Extension)

Required Skills:

  • ZCC currency, application and forwarding profiles
  • PAC file maintenance (deployment and cleanup)
  • IDP migration and policy configuration
  • zScaler Cloud Connector, Network Presence, and ZDX
  • ZPA Application Segmentation (Zero-Trust Design)

Skills in search for the best hire:

Proven hands-on experience with Zscaler technologies, including:

  • Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
  • Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
  • App Connectors and Service Edges
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNS, firewall rules, GRE/IPSec tunnels)
  • Experience with applicable segmentation and zero trust architectures
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) policies and profiles
  • Experience integrating Zscaler with identity providers (Azure EntraID, Ping)
  • Operational and Project Execution Skills
  • Able to translate high-level security architecture into Zscaler configurations
  • Comfortable working with agile tools like Jira and Confluence to track work
  • Can handle configuration migrations, rule reviews, and exception tuning
  • Experience documenting implementations and creating as-built documentation
  • Understands change management and can work within enterprise governance models
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Zscaler Certified Professional (ZCP) or Zscaler Certified Expert (ZCE)
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Terraform, Python, Zscaler API)
  • Previous in enterprise environments
