Job Details

Position Title: Production Supervisor, Quality

Location: Wayne, MI.


** Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends.



Experience Required:


  • High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree Safety and quality experience.

  • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified.

  • Knowledge of constraint management principles.

  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce.

  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


What You'll be able to Do:


  • Supervise a team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements.

  • Create and preserve good working connections with hourly team members, union, and management teams.

  • Communicate effectively with hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers.

  • Create a safety culture and apply and implement workplace policies.

  • Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively.

  • Evaluate team member performance and encourage continuous improvement.

  • Communicate goals and leverage resources to solve problems.
