Job Title: Java Spring Boot Developer

Location: Montreal, QC, CA
Experience Required: 7+ Years (Adjust as needed)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Spring Boot Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and developing robust back-end systems, RESTful APIs, and working with microservices architecture in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems.
  • Work with microservices architecture and cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Frontend, Product).
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
  • Experience with REST API development and integration.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Good understanding of design patterns, OOP, and clean code principles.
