RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jupiter, FL that is seeking a Principal Software Engineer - Cloud & API.

Responsibilities:
* Provide technical guidance and support to team members, helping them to solve complex technical problems, resolve impediments and ensuring that they have the resources they need to succeed
* Work as independent contributor to develop software products
* Leading technical projects from planning to implementation, ensuring that they are completed on time and meet quality standards
* Work closely with other departments to ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and goals
* Managing infrastructure: IT technical leads are responsible for managing infrastructure including hardware, software, and other tools needed for the project
* Collaborating with other departments: IT technical leads work closely with other departments to ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and goals
* Developing technical strategies: IT technical leads develop technical strategies and roadmaps, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing new technologies and approaches to achieve business objectives
* Ensuring technical compliance: IT technical leads ensure that all technical solutions comply with relevant standards, regulations, and policies
* Managing stakeholders: IT technical leads manage stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and partners, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met
* Staying up-to-date with new technologies: IT technical leads stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends, evaluating their potential to improve business operations, and making recommendations to senior management

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of Angular UI development experience
* 5+ years of Node with TypeScript/JavaScript experience
* 5+ years of API development experience (GraphQL a plus)
* 5+ years of SQL experience with relationship database (i.e. Postgres, Oracle)
* 2+ years of experience working with Cloud technolgies (AWS preferred)
* Experience with Agile methodology (Scaled Agile preferred)
* Technical expertise: An IT technical lead needs to have a strong technical background and expertise in the relevant technologies, programming languages, and systems
* Problem-solving skills: IT technical leads must be able to identify and solve complex technical problems, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions
* Leadership skills: An IT technical lead must be able to lead and manage a team of technical professionals, assign tasks, set goals, and provide guidance and direction
* Communication skills: IT technical leads must be able to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other departments, both verbally and in writing
* Project management skills: IT technical leads must be able to plan, organize, and manage technical projects, including creating project timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful completion
* Exposure to Scrum/Scaled agile for project management methodology
* Collaboration skills: IT technical leads must be able to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to achieve project goals
* Adaptability: IT technical leads must be able to adapt to changing technologies, priorities, and requirements, and be able to learn quickly
* Business acumen: IT technical leads must have a good understanding of the business goals and objectives, and be able to align technical solutions with business needs

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
