Description
We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Troy, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with at least one year of experience in IT support and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will assist end-users with technical issues, focusing on providing exceptional customer service and efficient problem resolution.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to user inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to Windows 11 and other supported systems.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems.
Document and track all service requests and resolutions in the system to ensure accurate records.
Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and implement improvements.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripheral devices as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and IT procedures during troubleshooting and system updates.
Offer remote or in-person support based on the severity of the issue.
Educate users on best practices for system usage and security protocols.
Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
Stay updated on new technologies and system updates to enhance support capabilities.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 11 operating system.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with users and team members.
Familiarity with hardware and software installation processes.
Ability to document issues and resolutions accurately.
Basic understanding of networking concepts and system security.
Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
