As part of the 60Hz Gas Turbine Systems organization, the 7HA.03 Systems Integration Leader (SIL) role will be accountable for product development for 7HA.03 Gas Turbines, as part of a total plant system. This includes ensuring our products perform and operate as dictated by contract and customer need. As a critical member of the Systems Engineering staff, he/she/they will apply expertise and collaborative leadership skills in supporting the technical details and inputs around GE's ability to meet all critical requirements (durability, performance, operability, etc). The SIL will be the primary integrator of the engineering teams with a focus on balancing technical risks and program requirements.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities
  • Be a champion for safety and quality.
  • Lead systems integration across 7HA.03 product line. Be inclusive of mechanical design, operability, schedule, cost, quality with a strategic focus on platform and product development.
  • Set team priorities, expectations, and standards; cultivate a positive working environment and morale; drive a sense of urgency and quality with speed; grow individual and team capabilities.
  • Apply knowledge of gas turbine design and systems to implement new ideas that enhance performance, operational flexibility, emissions, cost, and value.
  • Quickly and decisively solve customer issues related to product quality, performance, reliability, operability, emissions, repair, and cost to build goodwill and trust in GE Vernova.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as, but not limited to, internal engineering teams, product management teams, project management teams, sales, product service, and external customers.
  • Provide both transactional and systemic recommendations to improve execution and deliver better project/taskforce outcomes.
  • Drive technical rigor and integrity in all aspects of systems engineering, design and post-design work.
  • Demonstrate and lead with a high sense of urgency for factory and fleet support, as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of Gas Turbine Engineering design experience
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, The base pay range for this position is $131,700 - $219,300 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
