Job Title: Release Manager

Job Description Summary
The Release Manager will oversee and coordinate release efforts for the MA21 legacy system, supporting its transition to a modern infrastructure under the One Health initiative. This role involves managing development cycles, testing phases, and production deployments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals for Medicaid eligibility system modernisation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly release cycles, expedited resolutions, and emergency fixes.
- Scope releases and prioritise changes.
- Identify and manage cross-system dependencies.
- Ensure environment and functional readiness for testing.
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with technical and QA teams for production deployment.
- Track progress against timelines and adjust proactively.
- Communicate risks and updates to leadership.
- Prepare and distribute weekly executive release reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare eligibility systems.
- Familiarity with MA HIX or other state health exchanges.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management as a release manager for large-scale applications.
