Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management (70%)
This role is heavily focused on stakeholder engagement and strategic alignment of IT initiatives with business goals. Responsibilities include:
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders (e.g., department heads, project managers, end-users) to understand priorities and challenges.
- Needs Assessment & Solutioning: Identify business pain points and convert them into actionable IT solutions.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure IT projects align with business objectives and deliver value.
- Communication & Expectation Management: Serve as the liaison between Digital Workplace (DWP) and business units, simplifying complex updates for non-technical audiences.
- Change Management: Drive adoption of new technologies and organizational change.
- Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Implement feedback mechanisms to improve services.
- Vendor & Partner Liaison: Work with external vendors to ensure solutions meet business and compliance standards.
- Project Management: Deliver DWP projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
- Policy & Procedure Development: Define and enforce IT policies for compliance, security, and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7 10 years of progressive IT experience.
- At least 3 5 years in a stakeholder/business partnering role.
- Experience in IT operations and project management.
- Core Skills:
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong Stakeholder Management: Handle complex organizational dynamics effectively.
- Business Acumen: Understand and translate business processes and financial principles into IT solutions.
- Problem Solving & Analytical Skills: Identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Leadership & Influence: Lead cross-functional initiatives without formal authority.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree:
- Master s (MBA or MS in Information Systems).
- Certifications:
- PMP, SAFe, ITIL, CSM, or CCMP.
- Industry Experience:
- Background in manufacturing is considered a strong asset.
- Specialization:
- Proven success leading digital transformation initiatives.
