Scope Details
- 5+ years of Data protection solutions (DPS) experience in Avamar and Data Domain.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proven skills analysing and trouble-shooting complex systems configurations.
- Ability to help remediate tough technical support issues.
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- Hypervisors: VMware
- Network: IP subnetting and firewall rules.
- Scripting
- Automation (Python, PowerShell)
- Should have worked at larger customer and most importantly should be a professional.
- Participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business.
- Review and analyse solutions to meet cyber security requirements.
- Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.
- Design complex system upgrades by performing testing and certification activities.
- Design, code, test, debug and document scripting and automation solutions
- Assist Level 1 resources to resolve troublesome trends as they develop.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Create documentation to assist Level 1 support teams, integration/build teams, and meet policy requirements.
Nice to have skills:

- 5+ years of scripting and/or automation experience
- Languages: Python, bash, Powershell and integrating with API's
- Advanced scripting skills specifically around automation
- Ansible automation platform experience.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of technologies related to infrastructure engineering.
- Ability to work independently and as part of team on multiple overlapping projects.
- Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization.
- Product Management and Scrum framework experience
- Jira and Confluence experience
- Experience with external key management and HSM solutions
