Job Title: Full-Stack Java Developer
Location: Lansing, MI (ONSITE INTERVIEW and ONSITE POSITION)
Client Domain: Public Sector
Projected Start Date: 06/09/2025 (subject to background clearance)
Interview Process: Candidates submitted MUST be willing to come onsite (Lansing, MI) for interviews.
We are looking for a Full-Stack Java Developer with strong back-end expertise and front-end development exposure to support critical application development and maintenance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, application owners, and team leads in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of application code.
- Participate in the design and implementation of responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces in coordination with UI/UX teams.
- Handle complex development tasks and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Demonstrate strong communication, self-direction, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years: Development of complex applications using Java and tools like Eclipse or JBoss Developer Studio.
- 5+ years: Front-end development using JavaScript, modern frameworks, and CSS.
- 4+ years: Java 8 programming experience.
- 5+ years: Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data).
- 5+ years: Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
- 5+ years: Working in Agile development teams.
- 5+ years: Experience with HTML5, CSS, DataTables, Bootstrap.
- 4+ years: Experience with jQuery and jQuery UI.
- 4+ years: Oracle (12C/19C) development experience.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years: React.js
- 4+ years: JBOSS Enterprise environment
- 4+ years: SQL and/or PL/SQL
- 4+ years: Log4j, JUnit, Tiles
- 4+ years: Reporting tools such as Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects
- 4+ years: Familiarity with ADA, WCAG 2.0, Section 508 compliance, and UX design standards
