Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Bloomer, Wisconsin. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the manufacturing industry. The role combines remote end-user support with hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software systems, ensuring smooth operations across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance and support for workstations, devices, hardware, and software issues, both remotely and onsite.
Deliver Level 1-3 support for Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, and Office Suite/O365 applications.
Perform imaging, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and related devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with scanning systems and other specialized equipment used within the manufacturing environment.
Maintain detailed documentation of processes, solutions, and technical challenges to support knowledge sharing and workflow efficiency.
Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure seamless technical operations across multiple locations.
Participate in special projects that require hands-on technical expertise and problem-solving.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing technical concerns with professionalism, even in demanding situations.
Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices for IT systems and equipment.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in a desktop support or similar technical role.
Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, and Office Suite/O365 applications.
Strong knowledge of hardware imaging, configuration, and deployment processes.
Familiarity with troubleshooting and maintaining desktop systems and scanning devices.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging interactions professionally.
Experience with Microsoft SCCM and desktop imaging tools.
Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
Preferred qualifications include a degree in a related field and experience in a manufacturing environment.
