Job Details

Amentum seeks qualified Expert Geospatial Information Systems Administrator to support USSOCOM. A successful Expert GIS Administrator shall perform advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level GIS associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applications.

Requirements:
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • 8 years of progressive GIS server experience.
  • Highly proficient in administering and deploying open source and commercial off the shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment.
  • Strong ability to write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python, with knowledge of C# and Java.
  • Expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis and exploitation of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Shall possess high/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data
  • Obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DOD 8570.01 (Security +).

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree and 10 years of general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems
