Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: Contract (6+ months and extendable)
Rate: $60/hr on W2, All Inclusive, Danta Technologies payroll

What the client is exactly looking for:
The client is not looking for a junior GTS resource. They need a senior, hands-on SAP GTS expert with strong functional and project leadership experience, capable of managing end-to-end implementations and complex GTS configurations. who can both configure and lead, has a strong business understanding, and can drive projects from intake to go-live, ideally with added experience in analytics or S/4HANA.

Job Description: SAP GTS Analyst
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, convert requirements to functional and technical specifications, design cross functional solutions to meet complex business requirements and participate in new technology evaluations
• Perform and document software application configuration andor coding, prepare and execute testing (unit, integration, performance, acceptance) and data conversions using standard tools and follow established processes and guidelines.
• Oversee execution of multiple projects , managing a team of GTS consultants , provide technical guidance , workload management of the team and assessing budgets vs actual spend for the projects.
• Managing intake of new requirements from business to perform assessment , high level design, project sizing and estimation

Functional Knowledge:-

• Demonstrate conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
• Business Expertise: Knows best practices and how their own area integrates with others.
• Problem Solving: Solve complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
• Interpersonal Skills: Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus

Education and Experience:-
Must Have

• 8-10 years SAP configuration experience in Global trade services (GTS) minimum, including 2-3 full life cycle implementations
• Project Management Experience of running multiple projects , managing a team of GTS consultants , assessing budgets vs actual spend.
• Managing intake of new requirements from business to perform assessment , high level design, project sizing and estimation.
• Experience with the design of enhancements and continuous improvement projects involving Global trade services (GTS) Compliance Management (Sanctioned Party Lists, Embargo, Legal Control) and Customs Management and integration points with SAP ERP.
• Solid knowledge of Global trade services (GTS) customs Declaration document and associated forms like commercial invoice.
• Experience using US Automated export system (AES) filing using Global trade services (GTS) and filing through Broker Interface.
• Experience to perform configuration and enhancements in Sales and distribution (SD) Billing, Pricing and billing copy control in SAP ECC.
• Knowledge in all areas of the Order to Cash process: sales order configuration, pricing, delivery processing and warehouse management.
• Experience promoting changes to Production and associated methodology, including writing and executing test plans
• Analytical team player, able to learn quickly, can prioritize and multi-task
• Strong English verbal and written skills
• Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure
• Self-starter and proactive, including managing deliverables, able to work independently, understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance

Nice to Have:-

• Knowledge of working with Data Analytics collaborate with Hadoop and Tableau to prepare various dashboards. Prepare Functional Specification, Participate in design and testing of Hadoop Tables and Tableau Dashboards
• Experience with SAP Security Functions
• Experience supporting SAP Technical Upgrades
• Working on/developing custom Interfaces
• Knowledge of SAP CRM functionalities e.g. Opportunities, Contracts , Service Case
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and integration with SAP GTS
