In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Additionally, you will contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact.
- Analyze and resolve multi-faceted software engineering challenges.
- Collaborate strategically with client personnel to meet deliverables.
- Develop and implement solutions for the Global Control Room within Compliance.
- Work on cutting-edge technologies, including Kafka and cloud environments.
- Contribute to the development of AI use cases and cloud-based solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
- 10-12+ years of overall Java development experience.
- Proficiency in Java 11/17.
- 5+ years of experience with Restful Webservices.
- 3-5+ years of experience with Microservices and Spring Cloud.
- 3+ years of experience with Kafka integration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, including PCF, Azure, Amazon, and Google Cloud.
- Agile experience is required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Solution Architecture experience is a plus.
- Financial industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
