Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Dremio Platform Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Dremio environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in administering Dremio in a production setting, ensuring smooth upgrades, performance tuning, and day-to-day operations. This role also includes responsibility for managing clusters on Amazon EKS and working with reflections and data space management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and optimize the Dremio platform in production environments.
- Perform platform upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance.
- Execute performance tuning and troubleshooting for optimal system efficiency.
- Manage and support Dremio clusters running on Amazon EKS.
- Oversee reflections and data space management within Dremio.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure reliable platform availability.
- Support automation, CI/CD processes, and integration with other systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Dremio administration in production environments
- Expertise with AWS services: S3, EKS, EC2, and IAM
- Proficiency in Python scripting and Unix systems
- Experience with Bitbucket and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD automation
- Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning
