Job Description:

Highly experienced and visionary BlueYonder Transportation Management System (TMS) Architect to own the technical strategy, design and implementation of our TMS platform.

Hands-on with deep expertise in the BlueYonder TMS on SaaS with PDC.

Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex logistics requirements into scalable and robust architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Define and own the end-to-end BlueYonder TMS on SaaS with platform data cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise IT and business strategy across planning and execution systems.

* BY TMS: 14+ years of hands-on experience with BlueYonder TMS solution. 4+ years of architect experience and must have led at least 2-3 end-to-end full-lifecycle implementations of BlueYonder TMS as a Solution Architect (knowledge of BY TM on SaaS PDC is plus)

* In-depth understanding of transportation logistics processes, including carrier management, rate management, load planning /optimization, fleet management, and freight audit/payment.

* Architect integration between BlueYonder TMS SaaS on PDC (via BYDM) and other critical systems (ERPs, WMS, OMS, Control Towers, Carrier APIs, EDI platforms).

* Develop and maintain architecture artifacts: diagrams, data flow models, integration specifications, and technology standards.

* Serve as the highest level of technical authority on BlueYonder TMS projects, from green-field implementations to major version upgrades and continuous improvements.

* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, analysts, and administrators.

* Lead solution design workshops, challenging requirements and proposing optimal solutions based on best practices and BY PDC platform & capabilities.

* Make key decisions regarding configuration vs. customization, ensuring the long-term maintainability of the platform.

* Stay current with BlueYonder TMS roadmaps, new features, and industry trends, recommending and planning strategic adoptions.

* Experienced in cloud-first architecture and working on a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform); Google Cloud Platform preferred.

* Experience in cloud-native platform solutions utilizing microservices architecture patterns, enabling seamless scalability and maintenance across distributed systems.

* Experience in event-driven architecture patterns utilizing message queues and pub/sub systems.
