We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CMM Programmer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent role that will see you working in an exciting, fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex inspection programs for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using PC-DMIS software. This role will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your technical expertise, precision, and commitment to quality control. If you are a meticulous, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a knack for continuous process improvement, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

As a CMM Programmer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and implementing detailed CMM programs using PC-DMIS software.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand product specifications.
3. Applying GD&T fundamentals to ensure accurate measurements and calibrations.
4. Conducting mechanical inspections and precision measurements to ensure product quality and consistency.
5. Implementing and maintaining quality control processes in line with ISO 9001 standards.
6. Utilizing your knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and eliminate waste.
7. Conducting regular equipment calibrations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
8. Collaborating with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
9. Ensuring compliance with industry standards, including ANSI 14.5Y, Mil-Std-1595, and NAS 410.
10. Documenting and reporting on inspection results and process changes.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the CMM Programmer role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in CMM programming, particularly with PC-DMIS software.
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles.
4. Excellent knowledge of GD&T fundamentals, precision measurement, and calibration.
5. Proven experience in quality control, with a thorough understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
7. Familiarity with ANSI 14.5Y, Mil-Std-1595, and NAS 410 standards.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
9. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
10. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
