Position: Technical Project Manager - ECSA
Position Type: Contract
Location: Remote; On-site 4 days a month
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with ECSA expertise to lead end-to-end implementations and support enterprise-level application deployments. Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with ECSA expertise to lead end-to-end implementations and support enterprise-level application deployments. This role requires strong project management skills, preferably an ECSA certification, and the ability to bridge technical execution with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full life cycle Epic application implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Lead cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, engineers, and vendors
- Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, risk logs, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and technology partners to ensure timely deliverables
- Prepare and maintain change control, audit readiness, and compliance documentation
- Communicate effectively with executives, clinical leadership, and technical teams
- Translate technical details into business value and progress updates for stakeholders
- Travel as needed to support project implementations and go-lives
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field required
- PMP certification preferred
- Current Epic certification(s) preferred
- ECSA certification preferred
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience with Epic implementations
- Prior Epic employment or recent Epic build experience strongly preferred
- Proven success deploying Epic applications in complex environments
- Technical knowledge of system architecture, server environments, and infrastructure dependencies
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, ONC)
- Strong organizational skills with expertise in scope, schedule, and cost management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to engage executives and cross-functional teams
