Systems Administrator

Description

Robert Half is partnering with local fast growing San Diego based company that is looking for a System Administrator for a permanent placement opportunity. This position is full time with full benefits and is hybrid in San Diego. Ideal candidates will be creative IT problem solvers that enjoy working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment.

What you get to do every single day:

• Provide server administration, GP, AD, Virtualization work with Hyper-V and patching.
• Provide Tier 2 support when required.
• Install, upgrade, maintain, and administer infrastructure software and hardware for Windows.
• Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues.
• Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems.
• Support to branch offices.

Requirements

What you bring to the role:

• 4+ years experience in a System administration capacity.
• Administration of Hyper-V, Windows Servers, and Active Directory
• Leverage SCCM for control, patch management, software distribution, operating system deployment, and hardware and software inventory.
• Identify, research, troubleshoot and resolve problems with hardware, software, and systems in a Tier 2 capacity.
• Provide centralized management of Active Directory and Windows environments to include administration, security, authentication, authorization, and configuration of networks.
• Desire to progress in your IT career, learn new technologies, and take on new challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal/human relations skills.

Other:

• Position is being offered as hybrid in San Diego.
• Support to Orange County and LA office, with occasional travel to these offices if needed.
• General working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM.
• 40 hours per week.
• Position has full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k and PTO.
• IT certifications such as A+, N+, S+, Microsoft Certifications are a big plus!
