Sr. Analyst (Analytics/SQL/PowerBI/Tableau) Location - Denver, CO (Hybrid of 1 day/week in the office) or 100% remote
Contract Duration September 2025 March 31, 2026, with a possibility of an extension

This Analyst will be working with our client's Product Business Intelligence team (PBI) which supports the product group within the renal population health management division which serves approximately 100,000 end stage renal disease (ESRD) and late-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients across the US. A key component of clients' integrated care strategy is their Product & IT Organization. The PBI team helps product managers and leadership make decisions that enable our clinical teammates to execute and improve client's model of care.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of ad-hoc analysis and supporting long-term analysis. You will utilize your technical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to understand business needs and translate these into technical requirements to develop efficient reporting solutions.

The PBI Senior Analyst will work with teammates across various teams ranging from peers, product managers, to clinicians and operators, to product leaders. The environment is highly collaborative, and team oriented with a differential focus on both professional and personal growth. This Analyst will be working for the Product BI Team which supports the product group which modifies and creates tools for the end users to use to provide support to patients. This position entails a lot of researching and understanding of workflow data within an EHR system.
Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams and interact directly with both peers and executives across departments.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports that play a key role in evaluating performance and informing product decision makers
  • Understand business needs/challenges and translate them into technical solutions for report builds
  • Utilize SQL and relational database experience to develop and publish data sources used across multiple reports
  • Develop and maintain procedures that support the team's reporting capabilities
  • Conduct quality assurance testing on your own reports, as well as peer review
  • Communication:
    • Create and maintain report documentation
    • Present and communicate reports to various stakeholders & partners
    • Succinctly and clearly convey findings from reports and analyses
    • Accurately estimate and communicate project timelines, as well as navigate competing priorities from stakeholders
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance partners to ensure responsible usage of patient data
  • Provide Analytical Support:
    • Use Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and SQL to perform ad-hoc analyses on a variety of data sources
    • Summarize and deliver unique insights on end-user EMR usage data, as well as operational outcomes data
    • Understand and utilize statistical concepts to convey validity and scale to non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Bachelor's Degree Economics, Finance or Computer Science is a plus
  • The ideal candidate will have an analytics background and have a creative thinking mindset.
  • Need to be able to come up with measurements to prove Use Cases for the Product Managers to use.
    • Needs to have the ability to back these Use Cases with statistical information.
  • Experience working with Power BI
  • Experience with Tableau, Tableau Desktop (Certifications Preferred)
    • Dashboard creation experience
    • Skilled in creating and preparing data sets is a plus
  • Minimum four years of experience with SQL and relational databases
    • Must have complex SQL experience mapping out queries and performing data aggregation.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder communications
  • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft applications
  • Strong experience working within SDLC framework
  • Experience in healthcare analytics preferred
  • Experience working with Electronic Healthcare Record Systems is a plus.
  • Experience working with Jira is a plus.
