Job Description - Client Direct Program Manager:

  • This role is in the North America Client Direct Product and Policy Standards function responsible for policy, compliance and regulatory initiatives.
  • Client Direct is an exciting, new payment service that Client provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers) to facilitate domestic and cross-border fund transfers/disbursements to Client accounts in the U.S. and around the world using push payment technology, i.e.
  • Original Credit Transaction (OCT), and traditional ACH/RTP payment rails to deposit into checking accounts and wallets leveraging the Client Payments Limited (VPL) network.
  • Client Direct consumer and business applications include person to person (P2P) transfer, cross border remittances and global funds disbursement (business to consumer or small business payments), and more.
  • This is a unique opportunity to join the development of a new Client product in the growth stage, shaping the reach and acceptance proposition that will underpin the success of the product for years to come.

What we expect of you, day to day:
  • Client would like to hire a contractor as a Program Manager to lead and manage non IT projects.

Key goals and expectations include:
  • Responsible for the execution of one or more well-defined projects, under direct guidance of Delivery lead.
  • Support leaders and x functional stakeholders with deliverables, and coordinate cross team for project execution
  • Report and address obstacles delaying project timelines delivering against objectives.
  • Own and develop succinct content (executive level presentations) to summarize progress, risks and issues.
  • Independently work through a variety of data and analyze trends, manage forecasts and develop metrics that can be elevated to leadership on a monthly basis
  • Manage meeting minutes and coordinate action items to resolution.
  • Monitor and flag key decision, issues and risks, including executive approvals, delays, missed targets and resource gaps.
  • Position reports to the Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years project/program management related experience
  • Expertise in MS PowerPoint and Excel for developing content and producing reports
  • Comfortable working independently in Tableau and ability to create and manage dashboards, analyze data and run reports
  • Familiarity with executive level presentations and storytelling with crisp messages
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally and in writing
  • Self-starter with a can do attitude and can thrive in ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a complex stakeholder management environment
  • Domestic and/or Cross-Border experience in payments, payments rules and regulatory landscape would be preferable but not required
