Position: QA Test Engineer
Location: Columbia, MD (Nearby Location Only)
Contract to Hire Position
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, including designing and executing test cases.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and defect tracking.
- Candidate with Banking or Financial Industry experience.
- Experience testing legacy/COTS applications in a Windows and Mac Environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Experience with different testing types, such as functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases for test data setup and validation (optional).
- Knowledge/Experience on Cloud (AWS) is contributed.
