Job Details

We are seeking a highly-skilled, motivated, and innovative Hybrid Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment, where they will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems. They will also be involved in the revit design process and project production process. This role will require a strong understanding of electrical lighting and power and the ability to prepare documents for LEED certifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
2. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
3. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
4. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
5. Prepare specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment.
6. Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
7. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
8. Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.
9. Perform the revit design process.
10. Prepare documents for LEED certifications.
11. Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, engineers, and planners, to ensure job success.
12. Innovate and introduce new techniques and technologies for new and existing products.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Engineering industry.
3. Proven experience with the revit design process and project production process.
4. Strong understanding of electrical lighting and power.
5. Experience in preparing documents for LEED certifications.
6. Strong problem-solving, technical, math, and scientific skills.
7. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other team members.
8. Excellent project management skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
10. Proficient in design and calculation software.
11. Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
12. Excellent knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
13. Ability to analyze electrical system data and improve design and efficiency.
14. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
