Salary Range: $120,000 $160,000 per year (DOE)
Reports To: Director of Engineering / CTO
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment automation. You'll work closely with developers, QA engineers, and IT teams to ensure reliable software releases and infrastructure scalability.
Key Responsibilities:-
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI

Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Monitor system performance, availability, and security across staging and production environments

Automate system configuration and deployment using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes or ECS

Maintain version control systems and branching strategies

Implement and manage logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)

Ensure security best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows
Required:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role

Strong experience with CI/CD, automation, and scripting (Bash, Python, or Go)

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

Familiarity with Git workflows and release management practices
Preferred:

Certification in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)

Experience with service mesh, zero-downtime deployments, and blue/green or canary releases

Exposure to regulatory environments like SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS
