Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle PaaS Application Architect with extensive experience in the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle PaaS applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle Integrated Cloud (OIC) components and capabilities, along with proven experience in leading integrations involving Oracle Fusion applications. This role requires a self starter who can work independently and collaboratively with onsite architects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Oracle PaaS applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
  • Lead integration projects involving Oracle Fusion applications such as HCM, Finance, and SCM.
  • Oversee OIC Gen 2 to Gen 3 upgrade/migration activities.
  • Utilize pre built integrations, cloud adapters, and SaaS applications to enhance solution delivery.
  • Document high level design and technical design documents for integration solutions.
  • Coordinate with onsite architects for task assignment, tracking, and status reporting.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Provide expertise in integration frameworks, including FBDI/OTBI, Web Services, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, XML, XSLT, ATP Adapter, and XQUERY.
  • Implement exception handling methodologies, mappings, and transformations.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer needs and problem solving approaches.
Mandatory Skills
  • 12 14 years of experience in Oracle technologies with at least 4 years in Oracle PaaS application design.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Integrated Cloud (OIC) components and capabilities, including major OIC adapters.
  • Experience in leading integrations involving Oracle Fusion applications (specifically versions relevant to HCM, Finance, and SCM).
  • In depth knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing Database and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Proven experience in documentation of high level and technical design documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with OIC integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with file transfers and exception handling methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud adapters and connections.
  • Ability to work independently and overcome challenges with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle technologies are a plus.
