Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Shift: 1st Shift




Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician


We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting, and hydraulic systems. This hands-on role is crucial to supporting our fast-paced manufacturing operations by ensuring that production equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.




Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment


  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (including 3-phase power and control circuits)


  • Program, diagnose, and maintain PLCs and related control systems


  • Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and components


  • Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble dies and tooling


  • Operate tool room machinery (drill press, band saw, etc.) and use precision measuring tools


  • Support furnace, compressor, and cooling system maintenance


  • Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and perform Lockout/Tagout procedures


  • Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and equipment


  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with team members






Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment


  • Industrial electrical experience is required


  • Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting and minor programming


  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems


  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals


  • Welding experience (MIG/Arc) preferred


  • High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training a plus


  • Die cast or plastic injection molding experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs


  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing throughout the shift


  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
