About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Desktop Engineer to lead the design and deployment of client computing solutions. This role is critical to shaping the strategic direction of end-user computing, cloud services, and identity/access management. You'll collaborate with Systems and Network teams and serve as Tier 3 support for escalated issues.

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Desktop Engineer to lead the design and deployment of client computing solutions. This role is critical to shaping the strategic direction of end-user computing, cloud services, and identity/access management. You'll collaborate with Systems and Network teams and serve as Tier 3 support for escalated issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-user computing solutions (hardware, OS, virtualization, security).
- Deploy and support Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
- Lead workstation imaging, software packaging, and deployment (Autopilot, MDT).
- Support Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, and Enterprise Applications.
- Serve as escalation point for Service Desk issues and lead root cause analysis.
- Contribute to IT strategy, lifecycle planning, and service desk architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years in desktop engineering and client computing solutions.
- Strong experience with:
- Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, Windows 10/11
- PowerShell scripting, workstation deployment, patching
- Security tools: MFA, SSO, EDR, encryption
- Azure Virtual Desktop, LAN/WAN/VPN/Wireless
- Familiarity with ITSM processes: incident, problem, change, IAM, asset/configuration management.
- Certifications preferred: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Modern Desktop Administrator, Messaging Administrator, Windows Virtual Desktop Specialty.
