| We are looking for an experienced Senior Sitecore Engineer to join our growing Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer-facing portals built on Sitecore CMS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both backend and frontend technologies and experience delivering robust, data-driven web experiences. Your primary focus will be enhancing a Sitecore-based portal that delivers customer-facing reporting and visualizations. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring performance, scalability, and usability. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain customer-facing portals using Sitecore CMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical implementations.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions with customers and stakeholders, providing technical guidance and insights.
- Follow and implement Sitecore best practices to ensure high performance, reliability, and security.
- Extend and customize Sitecore components, templates, and modules to support new features and functionality.
- Integrate Sitecore with third-party systems and RESTful APIs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Sitecore implementations.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards and development best practices.
- Stay current with Sitecore updates, new features, and industry trends.
Qualifications - 5+ years of experience developing customer-facing web portals, with significant experience in Sitecore CMS.
- Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, , and MVC frameworks.
- Solid experience with SQL and relational database design.
- Front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and external data sources.
- Bonus: Familiarity with reporting or BI tools such as Power BI or Looker.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
