Job Description
***Only qualified Solutions Architect located near the Richmond, VA area will be considered due to the role requiring an onsite presence ***

Required Skills:
Experience in enterprise-level application design and integration (8 Years)
Experience in Azure (cloud-native and hybrid architecture) (8 Years)
Experience with Docker and azure cloud services such as AKS, Azure functions, Azure Container Service, Azure App services, Azure API Management (5 Years)
Experience working with Azure Data factory, Azure Data Lake (2 Years)
Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) architecture (8 Years)
Experience with integration architecture and proven work experience with Agile/Scrum teams (8 Years)
Experience with architecture engagement in Agile methodologies (SAFe and Scrum) (8 Years)
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and Dynamics365 (2 Years)

Desired Skills:
Experience with Esri ArcGIS (2 Years)

Responsibilities:
Create overall application and solution architectures, component designs, and systems integration and implementations for a particular business solution
Lead efforts in defining, documenting and estimating the following for enterprise applications
Capture requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, on- prem, hybrid and cloud topologies, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, system inputs and output
Collaborate with other IT staff to assess business needs and requirements and translate them into automated solutions
Produce relevant solution design artifacts including but not limited to technical estimates, conceptual, logical and physical system designs, sequence diagrams, and data models
Coordinate new system development to ensure it is consistent and well integrated with existing application systems and COTS solutions
Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with hardware and other programs; and will consult with clients to prototype, architect, and design applications to meet needs
Collaborate with Business areas and cross- functional Enterprise Architects to fully understand business needs and provide strategic consultation
Partner with architects, other technical team members and to develop roadmaps and strategies to support agency KPIs
Design/Implement Enterprise Security/technology Patterns
Consult with teams as needed on initiatives and provide tactical direction as well as provide architecture considerations on legacy solutions

***Client's probationary period for this position is three months, during which the candidate is expected to be onsite in Richmond, VA 3-4 days per week. After this probationary period, the position may transition to a largely remote posture, with a minimum onsite expectation of 1 week per quarter (to support leadership Town Hall sessions), and additional time as needed occasionally to support specific assignments***
