Position Summary:
We re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Network Engineer to play a key role in one of our most significant infrastructure initiatives: the development of a new hospital tower. This hybrid position blends technical, hands-on network engineering with collaboration across teams to ensure smooth integration of network services into a complex clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Configure and manage Network Address Translations (NATs) to enable secure and efficient network traffic.


  • Maintain and update firewall policies to meet security and compliance standards.


  • Administer and fine-tune NSX policies within virtual network environments.


  • Oversee and adjust load balancer groups to ensure high availability and optimal performance of essential systems.


  • Perform VLAN assignments and updates on switch ports to support evolving network needs.


  • Work closely with project managers, IT teams, and clinical staff to align network infrastructure with project objectives.


  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of network changes for audit and troubleshooting purposes.


Qualifications:



  • 6+ years of professional networking experience


  • Strong grasp of network protocols, firewalls, VLANs, and load balancing concepts


  • Hands-on experience with VMware NSX or similar virtual networking tools


  • Prior exposure to healthcare IT environments is a plus


  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments


  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting


Work Environment:
Hybrid schedule with on-site work required for coordination and hands-on implementation throughout the hospital tower project lifecycle.
