Description

FULLY ONSITE ROLE IN SARASOTA. Remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered by our client.

Looking for a Manager over our client's E-Commerce platform, web development, and providing leadership to a small IT team. Our client isn't looking for someone to be hands on with IT work flow, just provide leadership to a small IT team and make sure assigned tasks are completed

The specific duties of this role include:

Develop short and long-range objectives, policies, budgets and operating plans for our ecommerce platforms, as well as oversee the development and successful implementation of new platforms.

Manage listings, pricing, and promotions to maximize visibility and sales performance on all platforms.

Conduct regular analysis of sales data, competitor activity, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.

Make suggestions for improvement based on results with the goal of driving website conversions and engagement.

Leverage a portfolio of ecommerce tools and technologies (e.g. social networking, affiliate marketing, mobile applications, etc.) to develop and execute an effective Ecommerce strategy.

Keep up to date on emerging trends and technologies.

Develop and execute strategies for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and pther stakeholders to maximize customer and partner relationships, as well as to create campaigns including e-mail marketing campaigns to drive site traffic and conversions.

Oversee and contribute to Web Development within IT to develop essential Ecommerce functionality.

Develop our ecommerce team for long term success and capability.

Coordinate with internal teams to develop marketing assets, optimize product listings for SEO, and incorporate our brand portfolio into our global ecommerce strategy.

Generate detailed performance reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Present regular updates on account status, key initiatives, and growth opportunities.

Stay updated on e-commerce industry trends, platform updates, and best practices.

Other duties as required.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, we ask that you bring:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field

5+ years of progressive experience in ecommerce

5+ years of leading and growing a successful Ecommerce business with coding experience and web development experience to maximize E-Commerce initiatives

Experience in managing a small E-Commerce and Web team

Experience in managing a small IT group and understanding the duties and task of each member to provide leadership and support

Previous responsibility for developing strategy and driving operational execution with a proven record of success

Strongly prefer experience running an ecommerce platform in a high-growth environment

Excellent communication skills

Advanced skills in Adobe and Ui/UX design
