Job Title: Project Manager (Insurance Domain)

Location: Remote

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in the Insurance domain and a strong background in AI-led transformation projects. The ideal candidate will partner with insurance clients to drive innovative, data-driven, and technology-enabled change, ensuring successful delivery of AI initiatives across multiple functions such as Claims, Underwriting, Customer Service, and Operations.

This role requires a strong balance of consulting, delivery management, and stakeholder engagement to help clients realize business value through generative AI and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and business stakeholders in Insurance organizations to define AI transformation goals and success metrics.
  • Present AI/ML and Generative AI use cases, proofs of concept, and transformation roadmaps to both technical and business audiences.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on strategy, governance, and risk management throughout project execution.

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and data-driven transformation programs from initiation through deployment.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance, data security, and scalability standards.
  • Oversee cross-functional delivery teams (Data Scientists, AI Engineers, SMEs) to achieve project milestones.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks while ensuring stakeholder transparency.

Governance & Reporting

  • Establish PMO processes, track progress through KPIs and dashboards, and provide executive-level reporting.
  • Support pre-sales and go-to-market efforts by preparing proposals and participating in client presentations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, templates, and governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Project/Program Management within Insurance or Consulting organizations.
  • Proven experience managing AI, Data Analytics, or Digital Transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of Insurance functions Claims, Underwriting, Policy Admin, Customer Service, Operations, or Finance.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across business and technology domains.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to AI/ML, NLP, and Generative AI technologies in business process transformation.
  • Experience in establishing PMO frameworks, governance models, and financial tracking.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and data technologies.
  • Knowledge of risk management, dependency tracking, and change management across enterprise programs.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • PMP, SAFe, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
