Job Details

Job Summary Join our team responsible for Configuration Management (CM) activities related to the design, development, and production of complex defense systems. This role manages changes to approved configurations through a systematic change process, maintains engineering technical data packages (TDP), and supports CM and quality audits. The position requires applying CM processes in accordance with the CM Plan while developing solutions to moderately complex problems. Key Responsibilities Manage configuration changes using a systematic, measurable change process. Deliver and maintain engineering technical data packages (TDP). Apply CM processes per the Configuration Management Plan. Support configuration management and quality audits. Develop solutions to moderate scope and complexity problems using company policies and procedures. Interface and coordinate effectively with internal personnel, customers, and suppliers. Prepare metrics, reports, and documentation using MS Office tools. Required Qualifications Associates Degree in a technical discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Experience using databases and proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Sound interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. Experience applying industry standards and government requirements. Knowledge of configuration management and design engineering standards including MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, EIA-649, ASME Y14.24, and ASME Y14.100. Formal training in Configuration Data Management (CDM). Advanced skills in MS Excel (complex formulas) and MS Access. Experience managing Bill of Materials (BOM) structures. Oracle ERP experience. Familiarity with CMMI requirements. Prior Department of Defense (DoD) experience preferred. Experience Required Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in configuration management or related field. Education Required Associates Degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of relevant CM experience. Education Preferred Bachelors Degree or 8 years of relevant CM experience.
