Job Description:

  • We are seeking a Senior Product XXgner to lead the design and development of complex digital solutions, with a focus on creating user-centered designs in a hybrid Agile environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in both designing digital experiences and managing the process in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and user-friendly products using the latest design tools, methodologies, and user feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead and conduct business analysis in alignment with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and provide guidance in all phases of the digital service design lifecycle.
  • Apply evidence-based, agile approaches such as user analytics, interviews, research, and testing to continuously improve design choices.
  • Ensure web usability and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 to WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA) are adhered to for all digital solutions.
  • Lead prototyping activities, conduct usability testing, and provide feedback to ensure that features meet best practices, standards, and specifications before deployment.

Collaboration And Relationship Candidateagement:

  • CollaboXX with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, solution delivery vendors, and stakeholders, to ensure the alignment of business and design objectives.
  • Document and communicate business and user requirements and facilitate workshops to translate these into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strong communication across all teams involved in product development.

User-Centered XXgn & StXXgy:

  • Conduct user research and business modeling to assess user needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, tasks, scenarios, wireframes, page templates, and other digital solution artifacts.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership in user experience design to ensure quality outcomes across the team.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business goals and translate these into design solutions that optimize the user experience.

Product and Process Candidateagement:

  • Lead and prioritize product features and manage the product backlog.
  • Define success metrics, KPIs, and the product roadmap while making strategic decisions to maximize value and minimize risks.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of product features using Agile practices, working with product owners and developers.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate feedback loops with end users.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

Technical Skills (40%):
  • Significant experience designing online user experiences for complex digital solutions.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe InXXgn, Illustrator, Balsamiq, InVision, and others.
  • Familiarity with content layout and typography principles, mobile-first design, and responsive web design.
  • Knowledge of design principles, including interaction design, usability, information architecture, and accessibility.
  • Strong understanding of web usability and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.0 WCAG 2.1 Level A & AA).
  • Experience with cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, AWS), and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

People Skills (30%):

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaboXX effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, manage relationships with stakeholders, and influence design decisions.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and drive negotiations to successful outcomes

Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills (30%):

  • Creative, analytical approach with strong attention to detail and user-centered thinking.
  • Able to resolve issues quickly and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Strong research skills to conduct industry research and develop recommendations for design improvements.
  • Ability to translate business goals and objectives into user-centric digital experiences.

Preferred Experience And Qualifications:

  • Scrum Master experience or working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with user research, customer Client, and content strategy.
  • Familiarity with Backlog Candidateagement tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Pivotal Tracker.

Specific Deliverables Expected:

  • Product vision, roadmap, and strategic plans.
  • Product strategy, user epics, stories, and themes.
  • Functional and non-functional requirements documentation.
  • Test plans and strategies for usability, performance, and accessibility.
  • User research findings, personas, journey maps, and prototypes.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for digital solutions.
  • Regular project status reports and risk mitigation strategies.
