Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Oracle Cloud Business Analyst & Application System Administrator to lead and support the implementation, optimization, and administration of Oracle Cloud Applications (primarily in the Supply Chain and Manufacturing domains). This role requires strong functional and technical knowledge in Bill of Materials (BOM) configuration, Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes, traceability, and approved vendor management strategies.
The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to ensure best practices and system integrity across product lifecycle and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Oracle Cloud modules, including Product Management (PDH), BOM, Costing, and Procurement, with a focus on engineering and manufacturing operations.
- Design and optimize multi-level BOM structures, component relationships, and change control processes (ECOs) in alignment with engineering and supply chain best practices.
- Manage Item Master data governance, including lifecycle states, attribute validation, and integration with PLM systems.
- Implement and enforce traceability strategies, ensuring end-to-end tracking of materials, assemblies, and finished goods in compliance with regulatory or industry standards.
- Support the Approved Vendor List (AVL) setup, including sourcing rules, supplier qualifications, and change impact assessments.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to gather requirements, define user stories, and recommend scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Serve as the system administrator for Oracle Cloud Application modules, managing configurations, workflows, user roles, and access controls.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, test scripts, user training, and change management.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues; manage Oracle SRs (Service Requests) when needed.
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of Oracle updates and patches.
- Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to drive continuous improvement in ERP performance and data integrity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in information systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (Fusion ERP) in a business analyst or admin role.
- Deep knowledge of BOM configuration, ECO processes, and product lifecycle management (PLM).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing traceability, lot/serial control, and compliance workflows.
- Proven experience with Approved Vendor List (AVL) strategy and supplier management best practices.
- Ability to write functional specifications, perform data mapping, and lead UAT.
- Experience with data migration, system integrations, and API usage preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Cloud Certifications (e.g., Oracle Fusion SCM or Product Management).
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical device, automotive, aerospace).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ticket management tools like JIRA or ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of PLM systems such as Agile PLM, Arena, or Windchill.
