IT Quality Analyst - Cloud / AWS - 100% Remote (U.S. Based Only)

This role is ideal for QA professionals who have deep hands-on experience testing cloud-based applications deployed on AWS and who thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment working closely with engineering, business, and product teams.

Role Overview
The IT Quality Analyst will design, validate, and execute test strategies for cloud-native applications, with a specific focus on integrations with AWS services, API testing, and data validation across event-driven architecture and microservices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for AWS-hosted applications
Validate integrations with AWS services including S3, SQS, SNS, and Lambda
Perform data validation with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Participate actively in Sprint planning, requirements reviews, test reviews, and defect triage sessions
Work within Agile sprints to support CI/CD delivery pipelines
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in:
Hands-on QA testing of AWS services
S3 (file storage, retrieval, permissions)
SQS (message queues and downstream processing)
SNS (notifications and subscription triggers)
Lambda (event-driven functions and integrations)
API testing using tools such as Postman; hands-on experience reviewing OpenAPI/Swagger
Risk-based testing methodologies
NoSQL / MongoDB (searching, querying, and manipulating test data)
Event-driven architecture, REST APIs, and microservices
Azure DevOps (ADO) for test case management, execution, defect management, and traceability
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to learn quickly
Preferred Experience
Testing Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance applications
Knowledge of Direct/Agency Auto and Property/Homeowners insurance quoting processes
