Description: Job Title: SAP Technical MDG Consultant - MM Domain (Supply Chain COE)

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical MDG Consultant to join our Supply Chain Center of Excellence (SC COE MDG) team. This role focuses on driving the Material Master (MM) data management strategy across global teams and integrating master data from various systems into the SAP ecosystem, including S/4HANA, ECC, MDG, and GTS.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP MM, strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to lead and resolve complex issues to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and align on MM data governance processes.
• Support testing and automation teams throughout all testing phases.
• Assist with pre- and post-load activities during data conversion and cutover.
• Create detailed configuration and functional design documents, including process flows and integration requirements.
• Implement data replication techniques using the DRF framework.
• Utilize MDG consolidation and mass processing techniques to manage bulk data changes and validations.
• Collaborate with data conversion teams to define business rules for deduplication and data quality improvement.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot MDG MM-related issues.
• Participate in project cutover activities, including Redbook entries and transport request validations.
• Manage change request processes to ensure governance, validation, and approval controls.
• Work with business stakeholders to define rules for data quality, consistency, and compliance across business processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as an MDG MM Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with full lifecycle MDG implementations on S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes related to master data.
• Expertise in SAP MDG configuration, workflow setup, FPM, validations, derivations, and BRF+.
• Experience in large-scale SAP conversion projects across multiple domains.
• Proven track record in implementing and supporting Material Master Data processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of the SAP ecosystem, including S/4HANA, MDG, and GTS.
• Familiarity with SAP best practices for master and transactional data.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and MDG data models.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Proficiency in data management principles and master data governance.

Education & Experience:

• Typically requires a technical bachelor's degree and 9+ years of related experience, or:
  • Master's degree with 7+ years of experience
  • PhD with 4+ years of experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
